India’s Plastic Waste Management (Amendment) Rules, 2022 has introduced Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) that mandates the use of recycled content in plastic packaging. The key takeaway?
Rigid Packaging, such as Bottles/ Caps/ Closures fall under Category I. From 1st of April 2025 (2024-2025), a minimum of 30% PCR in plastic packaging will be essential to meet compliance under Indian regulations. The Min.
