Team

Mr. Kashi Deora is the Chairman of the Board. Mr. Deora is a first generation entrepreneur who set up the business. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the Mumbai University and is responsible for the Corporate Social Responsibility activities of the Company. Mr. Deora is an Active Rotarian and is currently Chairman of the India-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the past has served as Chairman of the All India Manufacturer’s Association and President of the North Bombay Jaycees.
Mr. Kartik Deora is the Managing Director of the Company. At Regent Plast, Mr. Deora oversees strategy and finance functions. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Babson College, U.S.A. and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Mumbai University. Mr. Deora is an alumni of the Campion School, Mumbai and The Sydenham College of Commerce & Economics. Prior to joining Regent Plast in 1999, he has worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and Investment Counseling, Inc.

Mr. Kailash Murarka is Vice President at Regent Plast and is responsible for the Marketing and Operations functions. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University. Mr. Murarka has served as Past President of The All India Plastics Manufacturer’s Association, Trustee of the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust, Trustee of the Goregaon Sports Club and was Chairman of Plastivision 2017.

The Management Team is supported by a highly skilled and motivated team in all faculties.

Facilities

Our factory is located in the town of Umbergaon near Daman and Vapi in Western India.

Umbergaon is located in Valsad District in Gujarat and is at approx. 170 kms. driving distance from Mumbai and is connected by Railway. The Gujarat government has announced plans to develop an international seaport in Umbergaon. The Plot Area is 160,000 square feet and built up area of our factory is 35,000 square feet.

Daman is an Union Territory and is at approx. 180 kms. driving distance from Mumbai and is serviced by Vapi Railway Station (10 kms.)

Vapi is a major transport hub in Western India with daily freight service to all parts of India.

Our factory houses its own quality control laboratory, tool room, maintenance department, back-up power generators and is connected vide broadband internet, CCTV surveillance, facsimile, gsm and landline telephone services. Key personnel are housed in company owned quarter buildings so that their families and they are well provided for and accessible round the clock.

Nhava Sheva Seaport is located approx. 200 kms. south of Umbergaon/ Daman.

Our Office is situated in Nariman Point Business District in Mumbai, which is considered India’s financial capital

Materials:
By using innovative technologies, the experience of our people, available new materials and working closely with our dear
customers, we are continuously reducing the weight of our products. Recently, we received an appreciation letter from
the Indian Oil Company for our efforts in this direction.


Energy:
The Company is closely monitoring its energy consumption per kilogram of product manufactured by us, and is
committed to reducing its energy footprint by harnessing newer and more efficient technologies, and by improving the
quality of its products to reduce its internal rejection rates.


Waste Reduction:
We generally try to ensure that material waste, where possible, is recycled back into the production cycle. In this way,
material waste that occurs can be optimally used and reduced in the best way possible. However, in cases, wherein the
product demands that the waste generated cannot be used in our processes, through rigorous monitoring, and
subsequent improvement of process efficiency, we are constantly endeavouring to reduce the waste percentage each
year.

1.      Make Sales Call to market the Company’s products such as Plastic Bottles, Containers, Closures, Caps & Custom Moulded Products

2.      Serve as Link between Customers, Head Office, Factory. Will be assisted with sales co-ordination at Office for back office operations.

3.      Will be responsible for complete client servicing of customers

4.      Should be able to leverage existing relationships in target industries to develop new customers, and meet sales targets

5.      Should be capable of making a marketing & sales promotion plan and must be tech savvy.

6.      Involves travelling for trade fairs and visiting customers

 

Desired profile of the candidate

  • Should have excellent communication skill & proven track record of Business Development.
